BOOTH SUMMER PROGRAM IS NOW FULL.Please go to the Booth Summer Program Waiting List and we will contact all waiting list registrants by June 10th.------------------------Booth Summer Program Dates: June 24th- August 16th 2019Our summer program runs from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday for ages 5-14.Your child must be 5 years old by April 1st *No summer program on Thursday, July 4th or Friday, July 5th in observance of the holiday.Before/After Care, Field Trips & Pool Trips-Before (7:30-9am) and after care (3-5:30pm) options are available every day (at an extra cost). There will not be after care on the last day of Booth (8/16). Program ends at 3pm.-We have weekly field trips (optional and at an extra cost per trip).-We go to the town pool every Tues/Thurs (optional and an extra cost per pool day). Register by 6pm the day before a pool day to make sure your child gets in to the trip.Withdrawal/Refund PolicyIf you withdraw before June 7th you will receive a refund minus $20 admin fee.If you withdraw after June 7th you will receive a refund minus a $50 admin fee.If you withdraw after the start of the program there are no refunds.Encore Week from August 19th-23rd Will be held at the CRRA Rec Hall for that week with a limited amount of children.Children will be able to swim Mon-Fri each day. Pool will open on Wednesday, June 26th at 12pm!The CRRA pool is open for public swimming on summer afternoons. Lifeguards are always on duty. Adult supervision is required for children aged 10 and under. The shallow end has wide stairs for entrance into 3 feet of water; the deep end is 6 feet with stairs to climb out. Each end has a shelf for sitting while relaxing in the pool. Showers are available at poolside and accessible restrooms are on site.You can pay for your membership in full at the beginning of the season OR you can pay on a daily basis until you reach the family membership total and then you will have obtained your membership and pay no longer!Season: Saturday, June 29th-Sunday, August 25th.*Pool will be Closed on 4th of July*Fees for Season: Family Membership $175 Individual Membership $85 Senior Membership (62 years and older) $25 Daily Pass per person $5 and after 5pm $3 Hours: Sunday-Saturday 12:00-6:00pmLooking to book a private pool party?1 hour of pool and 1 hour of the Rec hall is $250. Quiet your mind, refresh your body, and relieve stress with this class with this class led by Diane Lancaster, who has more than 20 years of experience in fitness instruction. Regardless of your physical condition or abilities, learn to increase strength and flexibility through positions, breath work, and mediation. The summer session is 5 week session.If you would like to just drop in to a class it is $12 per class.Class size is limited. Please bring your yoga mat and water.

For Girls Grades 4-8Games start Saturday, September 8th running thru late October (Schedule TBA). Practice most likely on Sundays (TBA)Coach Melissa Bordieri, FHS Varsity Coach since 2002, will be coordinating the Foxboro Youth Field Hockey travel program once again! Foxboro will be one of many teams participating as a member of the Commonwealth Field Hockey League. This program is designed to develop youth players, grades 4-8, into competitive, well-rounded athletes, while promoting respect, sportsmanship and a love for the sport of field hockey. This is a great opportunity both to learn about the game and to develop skills at a competitive level.Don't miss out on the fun!Each player must have a mouth guard, shin guards, goggles, cleats and a stick.

Add dimensions to your walking or jogging - do you like the idea of hiking but don't want to go alone?  Hiking is fantastic exercise as well as a great time to get some fresh air and explore new places. This class moves at a good pace - we'll be looking for hills! We will meet at various local locations every week (a list will be given out).   First meeting location: F. Gilbert Hills State Forest, Foxboro, Ma. From Norfolk center follow Rte. 115 south toward Foxboro. Stay on rte. 115 (crossing over route 1A at light) and turn left onto Pine Street. At lights turn right onto Route 1. Follow Route one for 1½ miles then turn left at lights on to Thurston Street. Follow Thurston for 1½ miles (pass Normandy Farms on your right).and turn left on to Mill Street. Follow Mill for approx. 9/10 of a mile (passing Chapel Meeting House on your right) parking lot on your right; across from main entrance.

Barrie Bruce Golf Schools is a public instructional program focused on those new to the game, seasoned golfers, juniors and adults. Bruce loves to share his passion for the game and encourages golfers at every level to play the proper way and have fun!Barrie is a PGA Teaching Professional and Founder of the program. He has received numerous awards from NEPGA and a Top 100 Teachers Award for his instruction. Clinics consist of 4 one-hour lessons with each lesson focusing on a specific part of the game. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of swinging with irons and woods as well as pitching, chipping and putting. Barrie Bruce has over 30 years experience teaching golf on the North Shore and now will be teaching at the Wentworth Hills Country Club in Plainville.

Bruce loves to share his passion for the game and encourages golfers at every level to play the proper way and have fun!Barrie is a PGA Teaching Professional and Founder of the program. He has received numerous awards from NEPGA and a Top 100 Teachers Award for his instruction. Clinics consist of 4 one-hour lessons with each lesson focusing on a specific part of the game. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of swinging with irons and woods as well as pitching, chipping and putting. Barrie Bruce has over 30 years experience teaching golf on the North Shore and now will be teaching at the Wentworth Hills Country Club in Plainville.

Add dimensions to your walking or jogging - do you like the idea of hiking but don't want to go alone?  Hiking is fantastic exercise as well as a great time to get some fresh air and explore new places. This class moves at a good pace - we'll be looking for hills! We will meet at various local locations every week (a list will be given out).   First meeting location: F. Gilbert Hills State Forest, Foxboro, Ma. From Norfolk center follow Rte. 115 south toward Foxboro. Stay on rte. 115 (crossing over route 1A at light) and turn left onto Pine Street. At lights turn right onto Route 1. Follow Route one for 1½ miles then turn left at lights on to Thurston Street. Follow Thurston for 1½ miles (pass Normandy Farms on your right).and turn left on to Mill Street. Practice most likely on Sundays (TBA)Coach Melissa Bordieri, FHS Varsity Coach since 2002, will be coordinating the Foxboro Youth Field Hockey travel program once again! Foxboro will be one of many teams participating as a member of the Commonwealth Field Hockey League. This program is designed to develop youth players, grades 4-8, into competitive, well-rounded athletes, while promoting respect, sportsmanship and a love for the sport of field hockey. Would you like to try working with clay? Come and learn to make a clay pumpkin. In this two class workshop we will learn to make a clay pumpkin in the first class. The second class we will decorate our pumpkins with under glaze paint. You can carve a scary face or a funny face or just paint your pumpkin and then leave your pumpkin to be kiln fired. Your pumpkin will be ready in time for Halloween!

He has received numerous awards from NEPGA and a Top 100 Teachers Award for his instruction. Clinics consist of 4 one-hour lessons with each lesson focusing on a specific part of the game. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of swinging with irons and woods as well as pitching, chipping and putting. Barrie Bruce has over 30 years experience teaching golf on the North Shore and now will be teaching at the Wentworth Hills Country Club in Plainville.

Tennis for ChildrenCome join F.A.S.T. Athletics for some tennis fun! 6-8 year oldsIntroduces kids to tennis using a foam and/or red ball which is lower compression than the standard tennis ball. Kids will be introduced to the tennis basics with active drills and games, the main emphasis being fun. 9-12 year oldsIntroduce kids to tennis using an orange and/or green ball that have a lower compression than a regular tennis ball. Kids will learn tennis basics that include learning the rules, developing their stroke, and understanding basic concepts with fun skills and drills games.  
 
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM    Soccer, Pee Wee - Pee Wee Soccer- Fall
This non-competitive instructional program for 3-5 year olds that introduces new players to basic skills such as dribbling and shooting.  Returning players will have have a chance to improve skills. Players should wear shin guards and sneakers.  Space is limited

Foxboro Recreation recognizes that the early years are an important time in a child's life. We offer a variety of quality programs at our recreation centers as well as a many great toddler/preschool programs. Class sizes are limited in order to give each participant the quality of attention you expect.  Activities will enhance socialization, assist in building self-confidence, and provide some educational experience. Our programs are all play based where children will participate in crafts, games, circle time, sharing, creative play, and other activities based on their age.The early childhood years from birth to age 5 is a critical time for developing many important language, physical, social, and emotional skills.Enrolling in early childhood programs gives young children opportunities to practice those key developmental skills. A sports class not only teaches gross motor skills like kicking a ball, but also important social skills like waiting your turn and sharing with others. Art classes are great opportunities to practice fine motor skills by using paint brushes crayons or markers and to use language by sharing ideas with others.All of our preschool and toddler programs are led by Renee and her caring, expert staff who understand early childhood development and design age-appropriate activities that ensure children have the best possible introduction to organized play. Our staff is skilled at easing the transition into participating independently.

9:45 AM - 11:00 AM    Ladies Light Hike - Ladies Light Hike
Add dimensions to your walking or jogging - do you like the idea of hiking but don't want to go alone?  Hiking is fantastic exercise as well as a great time to get some fresh air and explore new places. This class moves at a good pace - we'll be looking for hills! We will meet at various local locations every week (a list will be given out).   First meeting location: F. Gilbert Hills State Forest, Foxboro, Ma. From Norfolk center follow Rte. 115 south toward Foxboro. Stay on rte. 115 (crossing over route 1A at light) and turn left onto Pine Street. At lights turn right onto Route 1. Follow Route one for 1½ miles then turn left at lights on to Thurston Street. Follow Thurston for 1½ miles (pass Normandy Farms on your right).and turn left on to Mill Street. Follow Mill for approx. 9/10 of a mile (passing Chapel Meeting House on your right) parking lot on your right; across from main entrance.

For Girls Grades 4-8Games start Saturday, September 8th running thru late October (Schedule TBA). Practice most likely on Sundays (TBA)Coach Melissa Bordieri, FHS Varsity Coach since 2002, will be coordinating the Foxboro Youth Field Hockey travel program once again! Foxboro will be one of many teams participating as a member of the Commonwealth Field Hockey League. This program is designed to develop youth players, grades 4-8, into competitive, well-rounded athletes, while promoting respect, sportsmanship and a love for the sport of field hockey. This is a great opportunity both to learn about the game and to develop skills at a competitive level.Don't miss out on the fun!Each player must have a mouth guard, shin guards, goggles, cleats and a stick.
